I really love your videos and guides. Highly appreciated. I just started to lean and had my first 4 hours on the water. Keep up the good work and greetings from Europe.

Great video! One question though, are you not afraid to rip the wing with the foil when you water start like that?
@alancadizwingfoilinginstru29264 жыл бұрын
Always a consideration, but the foil setup I'm using when the wind is strong enough to water start has a long mast and small front wing that does not protrude from the water. So far so good. Thanks for the question.

Very clear explanation. One question, in your opinion is it possible to make that kind of water start with a 100 litre board ?
@alancadizwingfoilinginstru29264 жыл бұрын
Probably not, maybe in gale force winds. The wing does not have the leverage that a windsurf sail has attached to the board nor the power of kite during the "power stroke" to get up on the board. A big board, 100L, is too much to "sink" under you body. As your skills improve you will graduate to a small board. LMK

Why you have leash on back of your boom?
@alancadizwingfoilinginstru29263 жыл бұрын
I just put it on the back so it would not interfere with the POV. I normally place in on the front but it kept hitting the camera.
