Yes! It seems "showy" or like "how much can i put on 1 single piece." They're very talented but imho, & other jewelry making friends, people dont buy them. Simple wraps like these however do sell and are just as beautiful, if not moreso.

Hi Lan Anh! Thank you very much for all your beautiful teachings!🥰 I was wondering if you could make a video about a ring with a big irregular shaped stone. 🙏 I've always dreamed of making one for myself.🧚❤️
@LanAnhHandmade3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your suggestion. The stones have an irregular shape, It is very difficult to have a specific method, Because different stones will have different ways of doing it. You can refer to the playlist kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGbNcmiqrdBmq7c to choose the method that suits your stone.

I always love watching your videos Lan Anh! Can you do a wire wrap style on a natural/rough stone please? A stone with no smooth/ even edges or a flat back? I' ve been sitting on a piece of natural pyrite for a minute and can't figure out how to!! 😩 It may be quite a challenge but I believe in you 😄🥰

This is for ANYONE: As she turns the wire in. ...thats where i always scratch mine. I dont like using very thin guage so rhats probably why. But my question is this...Does ANYONE make pliers made of non metals like acrylic, heavy plastic, a silicone perhaps??? I obviously dont know materials for tools. Lol. However...what about disposable covers for tool tips. (Sorry. I tried to arrange that question so it didnt sound dirty but that wasn't so easy. 🤣)

i just used what i had on hand, you can change to whatever you have, similar things are interchangeable

You can buy a silicone dip. Crafters dip the jaws of their pliers into the liquid silicone and then let them dry. The pliers are supposed to both grip the wire better and not leave cut marks. I use round pliers to twist or pull wires inward--it is fiddly compared to needle nose pliers and saves me dipping my pliers in silicone. I will sometimes wrap my plier jaws with electrical or painters' tape (electrical is the better of the two). You can also sand your needle nose pliers with 1,000 grit sandpaper. Focus on "sharp" edges that tend to make cut marks in the wire. 😉

Super please tell me to which purpose which gauge wire is useful
@LanAnhHandmade3 ай бұрын
I usually use 20 gauge ( diameter of 0.8 mm) to bend, 28 gauge (diameter of 0.3mm) to wrap. Some operations include wrapping a short length, I use wire 26 gauge (diameter of 0.4mm)
