I’ve had a difficult 6 months, and your channel has given me more than a few pick me ups. I always thought I’d never sub to someone on KZbin, but this channel changed that. I feel your pain. The other day I had during the warm up lap….yes…. Warm up lap… someone touched the gras, spinned out. Me and two others in front could stop perfectly fine but the guy behind me not and flipped me even upside down. During the warm up lap….sheeshhhhhh

These things happen, people make mistakes. If you are really enjoying the ride anyone driver killing by a mistake is heartbreaking. But people not apologizing mostly makes me more angry then the fact they make a driver's or stupid mistake

Not getting a single apology is what irks me the most. You had two people run into you and not a single word. I couldn't fathom being someone who can't acknowledge that I took out another driver, whether it was my fault or not.

It looks like its a string of event causing the carnage, the guy takes olli out and gets again, obviously hes gonna be out of the race with damage but it looks like he was taking more people out and trying to race

This is why I quit iRacing. Dedicate decent amount of time into practice and then get booted off. Mostly on oval though. I can forgive racing mistakes, but I was having good races too many times to be taken out by backmarkers.

i keep thinking iracing need to do something about stupid/dangerous driving. we pay ALOT to play there game and the driving standards are getting worse and worse... constant people "sending it" with moves that are never on and in general just poor poor driving. Something needs to change.. yeah people can have a bad race but u can bet most of these people display poor driving standards in most races they do... change is needed.

Happy to see this take because I’ve been thinking this for a while. Making the occasional mistake is one thing. But so often I see people making “mistakes” that are simply due to either carelessness or ignorance of racing etiquette. To me these are inexcusable, yet iracing won’t move forward with punishments to these drivers because they don’t classify them as retaliation or egregious.

Check incidents after each race you do and report every incident that is valid to protest. If every race has 1 person doing it the service will clean up in a couple months. First guy made a mistake but that 2nd guy will most likely receive an e-mail informing him about safe rejoins.

Why is the FOV so narrow on iracing? Honestly it looks like the second guy was just a bit flustered and panicky after spinning and just didn’t see/react quick enough to you flying past. It’s rude of course to be taking a racing line whilst going so slow but again I guess people just panic and don’t think after spinning

The second guy was ok at first. If he’d stayed left until he was up to speed there is no issue. Instead, he just drives straight to the apex. I’d like to have a competitive race with Dave Cam but he’s too fast for me lol.

Unlucky. i keep hearing about iracings wonderful ranking system.. but most races i watch have the same old issues other driving games have... inexperience or attitude issues, how the 2nd clown didnt keep left entering track.. but they all seem to think getting back to the tarmac is the end of their mistake & just go like nothing happened.. the games need to educate people somehow

For me it's always important to analyse what happened to see what you could have done to avoid it. As soon as Dave slotted in in front, I could see that guy coming up on your left. I was screaming to cover the inside, but you stayed to the right and got taken out. Never give the plums an opportunity to lunge and take you out. They always will. They can't stay on their line. Just don't give them the opportunity. That second one is just an absolute moron with no clue what is going on around them moving onto the racing line at 3mph. Not much you could do about that one.

I do not see any stupidity here, just racing incident by people who all wants to play and have nice time. Ok not a clean rejoin, but now you should be used to that. It happens but I am quite tired that simracers don t stop blaming others and call them stupid. The only reason to blame is to prove it was intentional. Frustration is part of it 👍 Race clean is a goal. Fail at it do not make one stupid. And statistics help for that. Play on loby server on assetto if you want to see stupid moves.
