Absolutely true sir ! I’m pursuing bsc in business analytics and data science from Australia and I can say without basics you wont make it far !! Please understand basics of data science, I got selected as a research assistant in my second year itself because my basics were crystal clear! I was competing to Phd students but my basics and intermediate knowledge made me sit on the same table as them ! Thank you krish sir following you since 2021💜

Very true! Just had a interview last month and everything was going great and the interviewer asked me a very basic python question but due to no practice i blundered it. Being from a 3 tier college and losing a great product based company like that is still haunting and now i am studying my basics again to never repeat that.

Its very overwhelming, you are completely right. As a lateral trying to find my footing in the AI world, I am having a hard time. A lot of study and research is required and I am trying to form a good base.We need to have a strong foundation , absolutely agree with you. Need of hour is to focus on one topic and understand it through and through

I wholeheartedly agree with Krish's message. If you have a solid foundation in data science, you'll be well-equipped to adapt to any project that comes your way, whether it's related to Generative AI or not. When we interview candidates, we prioritize assessing their fundamental knowledge, as we don't have the luxury of spending time teaching them the basics. However, if a new framework or technology is required for a project, we're willing to provide the necessary time for learning and adaptation. For example, we recently hired a junior engineer as a Generative AI engineer. Their first task was to clean user prompts using basic concepts from NLTK and TF-IDF. Once we were confident in their fundamental skills, we asked them to learn LlamaIndex to further enhance their abilities.

Hi sir, I have 3+ years of experience in software development but I want to switch my career in data science or machine learning. I have been watching your videos from statistics playlist to NLP playlist and now checking on your Gen AI for the past 3 to 4 months. I really learned many things. Now I started applying for the job but there is only an opening for an experienced candidate. Can I apply for the job as an experienced candidate or do I need to apply as a fresher?

How the "to be" verb works in English: 1st person singular, 3rd person singular: is. 2nd person singular, 1st plural, 3rd plural: are. Apparently this person doesn't like to say things properly, which is why he says "Basics And Foundation Is " instead of "Basics And Foundations ARE". It's sad to see the language abused this way. Do people even care about how to use the most BASIC aspects of the language correctly?
