It is easier to learn to ride off-road with a 120-150 kg bike than with a 200 kg bike. I gained my experience and lessons with a 125ccm and 110kg bike and it was the right way to go. Every kilo less counts off-road!

Yeah the right pronounciation is Himaalayan, but no issues😊😂 The Himalayan is best suited for the Himalayas, (not a pun😂). I have driven it there and the rocky terrain is where this bike excels, in my experience. Really enjoyed seeing this video, thanks a lot!!!

Enjoyed the video very much. It's quite helpful to me because I currently have a Scram 411 and my off-road experience level seems to be roughly on par with yours, so the video helps me visualize what to expect from when I start to take my bike on trails a other non-tarmac routes. It also encourages me to find a similar course that I can take here in the US. Doing things in spite of being afraid is actually part of the point. :-) Well done!

Dei, please believe me, the pronounciation is... Him ma lay an. It was when I was at school in Geography class, it was when I had a work mate several years ago from India whose Dad grew up there, and it still was, when I recently watched a TV documentary about the "Him a lay an" mountain range... that is 2500 kms long and spreads across 5 countries... India, Pakistan, Nepal, China and Bhutan. Fantastic attempt at doing something new Dei and pushing your bounderies out further once again😇. Oh and what A good teacher he was, I wish I had of had such a good one, many years ago, while trying to teach myself at home on the farm, messing up the cow pastures, while breaking parts off the bike every time I fell ! Glad you realised your mistake with the Audio...👍

sorry but my recommendation as an adventure rider is that you should wear the right gear, fasion clothes don't help much when they are needed. well done and good luck.

Loved this, a great educational video. I have never ridden off road but its my aspiration, looks complicated to change gears, use throttle and brake while standing. Elegant fall by the way. I never learned how to fall properly from my mod 2 (funnily enough), but it is a skill and needs to be taught. Perhaps another video (but in a controlled way obvs).
