I love my 1973 jawa 250 per work. I love the art deco styling of the engine and how the engine stayed the same while the bike around it evolved in time. Glad to see it is still being made. These motorcycles will be around forever.

Does this one have the cam issues as well? The earlier ones have been known to eat cams, and ktm doesnt cover them under warrantee.

Looks like Lithuania is not the right country for this bike. Roads are too long and straight and the power is too much to use to is full potential. But I don't like KTM anyway. When are you going to play with a Jawa for us?

Proper machine. The smell of the 2 stoke oil never gets old and these bikes have there own characteristics that time doesn’t change. Your having to much fun get back to UK and be depressed about the weather.😂

Mine is a 2017, same color as yours. Except mine has spoke wheels. I’d ridden by GSAs for years. My last bike was a KTM 690 Enduro R. This is a helluva lot different! I’m 71 years old now, and my days technical , single track enduros is over. This bike is so little and low, I love it!

I bougfht the Silver Legacy Edition, I already have a blacked out machine in my XL883N, so for the BSA I fancied a machine that I can polish. So far after two months of ownership the Gold Star is a great handler, I'm still running her in so I'm keeping the revs at a maximum of 3000 rpm in any gear. Due to the wet summer so far, I haven't taken the Gold Star out of the garage much.

Nothing beats that going home feeling. Didn’t realise Lithuanian people had such well stocked motorcycle shops if you get one model in one colour most of the time you’re lucky. 😊 Cadwell park bike all day long. ❤

Great video 👍👍👍 - I’ve been waiting for a comparison video! I was interested in a Super Meteor but local dealer only had a Shotgun demo available. Took it out to get an idea of the engine and instantly fell in love with it; now I’m conflicted about which to get! I’ve ridden cruisers in the past so have no problems with either fwd or mid controls but would have to see how much of a stretch the SM is as I’m 5’10” but short in the leg. I definitely prefer the SM colour choices over the SG but would need to see them in the flesh (so will probably wait for the NEC). I tested the blue SG and wasn’t a fan, it looked a bit cheap

Come to Germany Black Forrest. You will love the curves. Boring straight roads are no challenge for motorcycling.

To all those who like this bike but can't stump up the very high price. The old model can be had at less than half the price and whilst it may not have the electronic gadgets this one has, it's just as much of a riders machine..
