6:25 HanseL DOES have a deep obsession with Barrel, there was a comic Edgyaludon made (and I dubbed it!) called HanseL and Gretel [uhh spoilers down there if you haven't read] 10 years ago, HanseL basically manipulates and deceives Barrel(Gretel) into going to his forest more often by getting some soldiers in the military camp to bully him, EVEN after saying he wants to die, HanseL gets angry rather than comforting Gretel and EVEN after running away far from the forest, he follows him everywhere, because HanseL said *Our fairytale never ends* and he will fulfill that promise no matter what and after 10 darn years He doesn't care what his actions will do, as long as he gets Barrel(Gretel) by his side, in the comic he quote unquote "I am the only one by your side now" since his parents died

Edgy and idk which edgy but it could be someone who made the animation made a post on twitter talking about Katie's mental health because when she posted the FPE animation she got harassed by everyone because of the song and the rule34 fans have made. Small correction. the picture Belial is holding is not Hansel. after a quick wiki scan and some match ups of the sprites on the wiki and the picture the person in the photo is not Hansel. its actually young Mister Strontium. there is some more lore on the edgyverse wiki but long story short Belial is Mister Strontium's father and in the comic "Hansel and Gretel" that explains the backstory of Hansel and Mister Barrel Mister Strontium is one of the bullies but presumably he disappeared after that event. personally i want more on that story because it seems like a interesting plot point. go to 4:07 to find my correction.

SPOILERS FOR HANSEL AND MR. BARREL BTW- the story of Hansel and Mr. Barrel is basically that when training in military, Mr. Barrel was always REALLY REALLY cruelly bullied (physically), and he ran into the forest that everyone was instructed to never go in- finding Hansel. Hansel would always heal him. THEN one day Mr. Barrel returns later, so one of his bullies gets really pissed saying that he needs to break one of Mr. Barrel's bones every day to relieve stress or something, and tells Mr. Barrel that he will show that Mr. Barrel got no right to disturb his schedule- then he rips off one of his wings. THEN dun dun dunnnnn Hansel shows up, but we find out he's friends with the bullies sorta, and says that he had to help the bullies a bit because every time they hurt Mr. Barrel, Mr. Barrel would go to Hansel and describe it as the 'happiest moments of his life'. Uh I mean that's one way of falling out fr.
