アクションラインが曲線の絵はそのポーズを自発的に決めよう魅せようとしている図で、アクションラインがまっすぐな絵は不意にそのポーズをとらされてしまったような印象です。左（正面図）なら「あ、いっけなーい、○○忘れてた」右（見返り図）なら「え、何？どうしたの」みたいな感じでしょうか。漫画などでは場面によって描き分けたり両者の間で調整したりするのも一つのテクなのかもですね。

Think of it this way, the action line is the general movement of the head, torso, and hips. And the three main parts of the human body can move and pose in different ways. Our head moves first before the chest, followed by the hip. I recommend practicing to draw the ABOUT TO.. poses like the poses suspended in time as it shows more movement than photos in magazine (learned from experience). The legs acts a support beams for the body counteracting the gravity and a system to balance the main body parts.
