This dude cracks me up how old school he comes off. He looks like a 1950's shop class teacher whose super dry, straightforward, but every once in awhile gets quiet and very intense as he stares out of the classroom window thinking back on his darkest day in the Ardennes in '44... 💀

Excellent video! When discussing hybrid IWB holsters (Ex. Alien Gear) you mentioned that you prefer to have the trigger guard completely enclosed. Black Arch's PROTOS-M holster has a "3/4 kydex shell" that completely wraps around the trigger guard and provides an excellent retention level that is adjustable, consistent, and does not depend upon pressure between the shell and the backing... incredibly comfortable! :) By the way, I loved your interaction with Ernest Langdon on P&S Modcast #173... GOOD DA/SA STUFF! :) That podcast first introduced me to you... now I'm a subscriber and very much enjoying your videos! I have yet to pick up the new Beretta 92 Elite LTT, but I'm saving for it... for now, I LOVE MY Inox PX4s (compact & full-size) - very underrated pistols.

FNX-40 in a DeSantis OWB if expecting real trouble... preferred the Galco shoulder rig when driving long distance, for ease of draw. ALL were "thumb-break" retention. Qualified with all three each year... All were used as Concealed Carry. None of our other Officers used the same equipment, as everyone has their own preference.

The LightTuck is my go-to IWB holster. . You can adjust the ride height, cant, and retention very easily. They also have a lot of color options for those extra high speed individuals because we all know those kryptek patterns decrease your draw speed by one whole second.

Great Video, I am a big guy and because of a service Connected injury that had me in a wheelchair for almost 6 years I put on an extra 100 LBS because of that I have reduced how often I wear an IWB holster but I do carry every time I leave the house. Because of my extra tonnage that I have put on I mostly use OWB holsters and when it cool here in Central Florida I use both Galco or DeSantis Miami Classic type shoulder holsters. I have been a FL CCW permit holder since the early 90s and I have tried many different kinds of holsters made by about every major holster maker out there and as my carry sidearms have changed and my skill level has increased I have changed how and what I carry. My first Glock was a Gen 3 G22 40sw and I carried that pistol in a Galco Combat master holster or Galco Royal Guard IWB from 2004 to 2015 when I upgraded to a Gen 3 RTF2 G22 and recently purchased a Gen 4 G22 but I have had and carried the Gen 4 G23 and G35 as well. I do own Alien Gear for my Glock 17/22, Sig P226/229 and my 1911s and they have the leather back because the composite material gets way too hot here in FL. In the past couple of years I have made a decision to start looking for solid Kydex OWB holster that would allow me to carry my sidearm with a weapon light attached and after lots of research and a few disasters I found Bravo Concealment and I purchased holsters that would allow me to carry my Gen 4 G17 or G22 as well as my Sig P226 with TLR-1 HL units attached and after 6 month of using the Bravo holsters I am very please with my purchase and would recommend the Bravo holsters to anyone that would ask me about a solid carry kydex holster. The one bad thing about Bravo Concealment is that they changed their line up and are now only carrying quick ship holsters for some Glocks 17/19 and 42/43 and some MP pistols and that is it but I was told a couple of weeks ago when I tried to order a holster for my Sig P229 w/surefire xc1. One thing that everyone should consider when outfitting their carry sidearm is the following: Good Sights I prefer Tritium Night Sights I prefer Trijicon and Meprolight Good Weapons Light I prefer Streamlight TLR-1 HL I have both the older 630 and the new 800 lumen units Good Laser unit I prefer the Crimson Trace frame grip model for Glocks and XDm and the Grips for Sig 226 and 229 as well as 1911. Just wanted to put in my 2 cents. P.S. Using button up shirts like the ones from 5.11 Tactical, Tru-Spec and Propper that fit loose I carry my sidearms in OWB Bravo Concealment Weapon light pistol holster riding on a 5.11 Tactical 1.75 inch Operator Belt with cargo shorts or jean here in FL on a daily bases.
