I never use the main system axes as my origin points. Axes can be deleted and if you ever need to copy stuff to another model, sketches attached to axes will fall over. Use the main planes which cannot be deleted

Doesn´t matter because you have to redefine all references anyway. The H/V directions are just projections and you will lose those references as well. The industry doesn´t use those planes! The proper way is to define your own axis-system.

Hi WW do we have any option to move the 3D curve tool bar from freestyle to generative shape design

Just try - switch to GSD - go to ->tools ->customize ->toolbars - and add that command to the GSD workbench. This will work, but the command might not work even if it is available in the GSD workbench. You should also consider, that you need more than that 3d curve tool, so you would have to add more commands than that. You could make your own toolbar.

Schade, hab vorher auch immer den Fehler gemacht diese als Bezug zu nehmen und im normalen gebrauch sind die für mich komplett nutzlos, mittlerweile sogar lästig geworden. Der Tip mit der Lupe funktioniert. Danke! Haben Sie zu Zeichnungsableitungen etwas geplant? In Catia ist das leider nicht wirklich intuitiv und letzen Endes erstelle ich die Modelle nur um später daraus die TZ und Explosionszeichnungen daraus abzuleiten.

Hallo, danke für die hilfreichen Videos. Besonders der Audiokommentar macht das ganze deutlich "lebendiger". Nach dem doch eher oberflächlichen Catia Labor an meiner FH, haben Sie mir doch recht gut weiter geholfen und einige Tricks aufgetan. Zwei Fragen stellen sich mir noch: Gibt es eine Möglichkeit im Sketcher standartmäßig das gelbe Koordinatensystem auszublenden? Wie haben Sie die "Lupe" bei 05:10 aufgerufen?

use the user selection filter - you can filter for points in the sketch and for edges in the model space

Hi WW Please can i know how to get the magnifying tool

If there is more than one element near your mousepointer - press the "arrow down" key (one of the 4 arrow keys) - but the magnifying tool works only it certain situation, even if you would need it the most. In contrast the "quick select" or "select other" in NX, SolidWorks and Inventor will work in every situation.

Hi, bitteschön gerne :). Leider kann man die projezierten gelben Achsen/Ursprung nicht automatisch ausblenden. Die Lupe funktioniert nur wenn mehrere Elemente in einem gewissen Radius um den Mauszeiger sind, einfach die Cursor - Nach - Oben Taste drücken ;) - funktioniert aber nicht bei geöffneten Dialogfenstern.

Hi sir in my pc im getting error please help me to resolve I designed part by using no of insert body options many time but now im getting error only the body define work object is showing on display rest of all bodies are not displaying why it happens

There is a switch/symbol in the lower toolbar, which allows you to see only the current body. "current body only" 3 bars in blue/gray clour = all bodies - 1 bar only the current body in orange colour.

many thanks . I also noticed when you constrain an element you do something like an equation (115-20 ) e.g to get 95 mm. What is the reasoning behind this ?
