That’s really interesting tbh, because I’m 99% European (according to 23andme) and my eyebrows are a lot like hers in the shape and how they go in 2 different directions. Also the length. Idk why but I can also do the Asian squat so genetics are pretty complicated I guess lol. I wonder where that comes from.

@pleinair totally agree - a lot of MU gurus out there don't dare to show you the "un-glamourous" sides of things... they prep themselves perfectly before turning that camera on... and some won't even show you their natural face w/out makeup. I truly appreciate Jen's honest and genuine attitude!

This is a great tutorial! I am an older white woman and hadn't started coloring my brows until just last year. Hiding the gray! And I plucked way to much in my younger days. This is great showing how to pluck and color. I only have a Maybelline brow color pencil right now. Will need to try some of your products. So many women are doing those huge square boxes and their brows look so fake! Thank you again for this!

Everything that you said was SPOT ON! I wish I had this kit 20 years ago! I went to Sephora and the sales person actually showed me Anastasia and Two-Faced. I purchased two-faced. Wish it had the mirror but oh well... I also wish I had NEVER let anyone wax my eyebrows. Several times I was burned but did not realize until now when I see my scar tissue around my brows. This kit is worth doing it yourself! You are A +++++!

i wish my brows tapered off like yours did because mine are furry at the end (tail is not long enough) and i am scared to trim too much off (really long brow hairs) they only look good when i get them threaded and i can't afford that :(

you can always use just a touch of hairspray, I use that and it works just as good. take an eyebrow brush or a spoolie and pray some hairspray on it and shape ur brows. hope this helps.

@xiaoamzies I have one that I just use in place of the cuticle scissors to cut down the longer pieces that stick out, but I personally like shaping by tweezing from the roots. It's just my preference though, there isn't really a "wrong" way.

@buhedwen I do prefer Anastasia just because I like the lighter ash color and NYX's is slightly darker but honestly, they aren't too different. You can even use a matte eyeshadow instead which is probably cheaper. You don't have to pay a lot for good eyebrow stuff in my opinion.

I have red hair so my eyebrows are so light that you can hardly see them. My friends tease me for having "no eyebrows" T_T But it also is annoying because its hard to shape them when they are so light :c

You can have your brows tinted darker! :) It's especially convenient if you're not the type to do your brows everyday. And it's SO much cheaper than doing a brow construction (which is like brow tattooing but looks super natural. it does fade after 3 yrs or so).

Thank you for sharing this video in demonstrating of how eyebrows should look like. I have been having problems with my eyebrows for awhile now, my sister actually pointed it out. I've been trying to do different stuff with them, like pencil some of the hairs in that weren't there any more (to give them more of a fuller look). I have been letting them grow out, I've seen a huge difference in my brows, I am not fully there yet! I did pencil them in a little and brush out to make it look more natural looking. There is a scar on my left brow from when I was a kid, so I fill that part in

@lewein2 I think I just used eyeshadow primer (UDPP) and liquid eyeliner for my upper lid. I avoided shadow so it wouldn't distract from the eyebrows. If you want a similar look, Urban Decay shadow in Naked and Buck can give you a similar, natural look since they are matte brown shadows.

Hi! This is actually the first video I've seen from your channel. I recently messed up my brows like.. 3 weeks ago and i was really unhappy with it and just trying to grow it all out and haven't touched it since. @realies91 they are really thin, criss-cross style half lashes! There are lots of lashes that have this similar look but I recommend Shisem or Darkness brand. :)

I used to have this problem with pulling out my eyebrow hairs from stress/anxiety when I was in highschool, they are still growing back properly, they are being really uncooperative about coming back but this was helpful for when they do!
