What is Tre Gun (Guna)? | Rajo, Tamo & Sato | Finding Spiritual Balance

Gurbani (the Guru’s word) tells us that this world is a play of three qualities, but what are these three qualities? In this video, Bhai Baljit Singh explains the nature of said three, Rajo, Tamo, Sato and touches on the fourth state, which we strive to achieve.
How can it benefit me to know about the three qualities? Everything from our thoughts and emotions, to even the food we eat is bound to Rajo, Tamo and Sato. When we spend our life living in an unconscious state, the three qualities become imbalanced within us, causing physical and mental stress. Becoming conscious of the nature of these three qualities will help us to live a more balanced life.

I also want sangat to find out the true ways to reach Vaheguru, thats why I promote bhai simranjeet singhs katha, because it was only after listening to their katha my questions were answered. Majority of sikhs I have spoken to do not know what naam is, some think gurbani is naam, some think gurmantar is naam. Some think we just need to recite gurbani as much as we can without contemplating. There is so much confusion in the panth. A pacharak cannot teach you how to get to vaheguru if they have not done it themselves, so we should only listen to those who have reached that destination first themselves.

Onions and garlic are in the mode of tamstic meaning in the mode of passion and ignorance ..so why the hell do Sikhs put so much onions and garlic in the langar and I will tell you why ..as Sikhs are in the mode of ignorance and passion ..hare Krishna do not use onions and garlic as they are in the mode of passion and ignorance...that's the big difference ..when you have the best langar and when you have the best hare Krishna feast the hare Krishna feast food is miles better then langar. .go to hare Krishna feast and see the difference
