How can we stop hating someone? Hatred is a strong emotion that can cause more upset to us than anyone else, but how do we overcome this emotion? Bhai Baljit Singh Ji delves into the Mool Mantar, looking at the word Nirvair (without hate), and explains how this is a quality we can also adopt.
This video has some real-life examples of how we can live a life without having hatred for anyone or anything.

How to deal with someone who is toxic . The more humble you become the more the person takes advantage and makes use of you. The person steals from you , lies, and back stabs you to other ppl but in front acts innocent . And this person is your own sibling in law. How to trust such a person anymore? Mother instinct kicks in and you wonder How to protect your children from being hurt by this person? When the children are involved how do you not feel protective threatened worried ?

Example of bhai ghaniya ji is beautiful but i feel the singhs who faught for guru sahib were not wrong aswell . To tell someone that they are wrong or to protect yourself , you certainly have to oppose them . Please explain how can someone justify that . According to my thinking its not the action which is in question but the motivation . Correct me if i am wrong

Try to set healthy boundaries so other people know what you are not willing to tolerate. It's easier said than done. Pray for them to find peace. From my personal experience . After i encountered such people in my life and after hating them for long time i finally realised people are who they are . The person who hurt you see if he/she hurt other people as well . If yes then its nothing personal here its just their karma but if it was only you who they hurt then see if it was your wrong doing that caused it but it was a misunderstanding on their part . Try to explain and if they do not agree leave it to them .

It’s not easy but if it’s stealing your emotional peace then lessen the contact with them and every time you do path tell guru maharaj how you feel. And send beautiful energy towards them it will make you feel good inside. And try to stop to not bring this topic up to discuss with other loved ones. Because on one hand it’s gonna make you feel good but also agitate your peace too. Every time it comes say Waheguru. With time you will find peace. But definitely lessen the contact with those people.❤

We should not hate anyone. I agree hate is a very strong emotion, but that does not mean according to my understanding we suddenly start to spend time with everyone. There is negative characteristics in certain people which can effect our own stability. This doesn’t mean you hate this person because a human being is multifaceted creation. For me it just means there are certain circles depending on the path you tread that need to be avoided or not encouraged. I read once that hatred is dislike put into practice. So maybe you dislike such a person for whatever reason you then intentionally cause pain & suffering to this one individual. This is not right. I feel this video is. Very generalised because you have to take each situation at a time.

hating someone means having ill feelings. ignoring someone is the best because you are not indulging in any form of thought and relying on GOD to guide the person or let his karm be written as he is, if the other person does not comes to the right path.

Do you talk about casteism in Sikhism like Hinduism?
@baronesselsavonfreytag-lor1134
@baronesselsavonfreytag-lor1134 2 жыл бұрын
Guru Nanak also said there's no caste. People still talk about being Jatt or whatever, but they are not supposed to consider caste at all, that is why we are Singh and Kaur, so no person may be judged by family status. Muslims are not supposed to follow casteism but in Pakistan people still call each other Rana. Sikhs and Muslims were once Hindu in old Hindustan, so there are cultural holdovers such as caste and honor killings.

1. You have to undertake Amrit Sanskar to join the Khalsa. 2. You must be wearing the 5k's when you do and then wear them constantly. ' Guru Ji proclaimed: “Whosoever will become my Sikh will not present themselves before me without long hair and weapons.”' You can be a Sikh who has not joined the Khalsa but who follows ALL of the Gurus..you would be a Sahajdhari Sikh or you can be a Nanakpanthi..though the Khalsa would not have much time for you..they would protect you but The Khalsa is told not to associate with such 'Sikhs'. In truth all you need is to follow the Jap Ji Sahib. To take Amrit is a massive commitment and many claim to be Singhs and Kaurs but are not really Khalsa..dressing up, growing your hair and carrying a weapon does not make you Khalsa. In fact there are many who wear the 5 k's but have NOT taken Amrit. I was arrested the other day for carrying a kirpan on open display in the street. The interviewing detective ,who knew me from years ago said, ' Forgive my officers..you don't look like a Sikh Paul' ' What does a Sikh look like ? I wear the 5 k's..that is enough for me as Khalsa..A Sikh has no dress requirement..a Khalsa Singh is in an army..we have a uniform' Guru Gobind NEVER commanded us to wear a turban, that is something the Khalsa Panth has been told is a requisite by the Sikh Rehat Maryada created by later members. We only have to cover our heads and keep our hair tidy and in place, the modern neat sharp looking turbans were developed for uniformity when the Sikh joined the British army.
