Wow this amazing. I don't know Greek, but this song seems to have both sadness and hope at the same time. am i guessing right? I wish someone would write the meaning of the words in an explanatory way. because poetry or lyrics lose their meaning in automatic translation.

Omer Uzun , you really caught the meaning 😊 Mr Skoulas says that, lyrics of this song are a part of a poem of the poet Giorgis Karatzis. The poem's title is EMINE. And it is about the love of two young people during the period of turkish occupation. The boy is Cretan named Giagkos and the girl is the daughter of an Aga , and her name is Eminè. Of course their love is totally forbidden and - as poet says- the only place they are aloud to exist is dreamland. I will try to translate this part, in my way... 😊 " ... and their only consolation during the day and the night was their encounter in dream's land. ... there ! where evil people have no authority to put fences and boundaries to separate people. ...and where the law and commands have no place to be, and people's thoughts are never imprisoned... There ! in dream's vast and endless field... Giangos and Eminè kept meeting every night ! Oh! My God ! What games of tenderness and joy and happiness !!! ... flowery hugs and lovers' talks , joy spread all over love's residence, in the same way that water spread out in water channel in the fields... Passion, bitterness and pain... everything was spent like melting candle... They play, they laugh and have joy with so sweetness, as little lambs do in the fields of March... ...and all around, the birds from all over the world are fluttering, singing and holding hands with Joy ! All the flowers of Earth are kneeling with grace, touching and kissing the congenial couple. And a fresh air - like breathing April - comes to freshen the lips of the loving couple ... " I hope you like the translation which is totally amateurish. I would like to dedicate this song to all people suffering in Turkey and Syria from the horrible earthquake. In the middle of impossible and despair, let the candle of love and hope lighten... ❤️

@@antigonisaloustrou7784 Thanks for your efforts☺️. I am Turkish and my wife's name is Emine. This is too good to be a coincidence. Although our beliefs and language are different, there are more good people among us. (I guess we are sensitive people trying to reach the same god in different ways anyway) stay loving and no more impossible love stories
