Initially, I wasn’t a fan of your narrations. I’d become accustomed to the more intimate, conversational style of TheDarkSomnium and MrCreepypasta. As I continued to listen to your extensive backlog of content though (which is all fantastic by the way), I noticed I’d gone through hours and hours of content without realizing it! You’re style is super sodo voce, but the bass in your voice helps you pull it off. Couple that with a fantastic sense of timing and great recording equipment/production techniques, and you’re now one of my favorite narrators! I just wanna know where in the world you find such long stories. Either way, I can’t wait to listen to this one later tonight.

I’m only an hour in, but I must say I’m impressed. The production is exquisite and really helps to ground the story in a sense of place and time, and then to ratchet up the tension when things turn dark. I very often skip stories about “exotic” locations. But here, the author has clearly taken great care to avoid the obvious, odious tropes and racist cliches. And even if you’re unconcerned with such touchy-Feely, politically correct bullshit, the research and attention to detail makes for better storytelling. So everyone wins!

Vladgirl, I have ra (rheumatoid arthritis) and I've been in almost constant pain for nearly a decade now. Yesterday I got some cbd vape juice and vaped some before bed. I slept deep and woke with zero pain. If you don't vape, I highly suggest cbd lotion. I get 4 oz of 400mg cbd lotion from an online shop called Black Label Hemp. It works SO GOOD. I work at a factory and use the lotion a few times a day and it really helps bring my pains down from a 6-7 to a 2-4 and that's a HUGE difference. Gentle hugs to you. :)

[Thematic Spoiler Warning] Plot Twist Theory: Both women are not only carriers but will themselves actually become Bailisco. The organism which infects individuals and is shown to be able to survive dormant in long dead bone marrow is likewise able to control certain necrotic hosts long after they are deceased. Most individuals infected simply die as they are unable to become true hosts whereas certain "lucky" individuals such as our two protagonists have the organism lie dormant inside until they would die, naturally or otherwise, however, instead of simply dying, the ancient organism takes control of their body and they live on as deformed and hideous rotting necrotic abominations. The Bailisco medicine man whom we witnessed in the story is actually a long-dead villager who actively works to spread and grow the biomass of the organism. It acts like a self aware virus, infecting villagers isn't just some sadistic ritual, it is actually a Twisted means of propagation and likewise finding new hosts. What we witnessed was a Changing of the Guard and once both women inevitably die they will begin to spread the organism actively. The organism itself is sentient and uses human hosts to spread itself and survive. That is a wild and creepy concept, hope you all enjoy!
