FT you are always in the right spot... sort of , I looked up the flood that took the lives of 3 people all Caudill's and the date of this *flood was in - 1916 ! over a '100' years from today* (approximately) ! One of the victims was Annie Caudill who was newlywed recently married 6 months prior to a man named Famon Caudill. In a story told during a recent ceremony remembering the tragedy , the relative of the family told how as he searched the riverbed found the milk container he had given Annie on there wedding day (different times today right) the man telling the sad tale proudly held up the container for all to see. Once again FT you have brought us face to face with the traces of the past ! (man I sound like a TV host, lol)

BASIN CREEK CAMPGROUND CLOSED. 6/2024. There are concrete road type barriers that have been placed to block access to the campground and "No Camping" signs. It appears to be a permanent closure. The parking lot for the trailhead heading up the mountain is still there. The hike in camps are still open.

At 16:59 a weird anomaly shoots in from the right zig zagging till it hits high up left side of screen, this brown hunk of mud remains unidentified as does that meat my mother served tonight for dinner.
