Basketball animation with Rigid Body physics in blender

I had so much fun with experiment with Blender physics simulation. I was going to do some tests with Rigid body physics but I came up with this idea and decided to share it with you. in this Time-lapse video I will show you how I made this short animation in blender.

Clean! Is the net a rigid body simulation? I would think it'll be a cloth sim?
