probably the leather shrinks or something depending on the leather they use but its is smaller and lighter
@aprolandana11 жыл бұрын
It`s just Molten standard,before they were smaller than now. Molten it`s japanese company. I have an official GL7 ordered directly from Molten and I like it. Anyway every ball has advantages and weaknesses. My standard is Nike 4005 and Spalding Official or real TF 1000 ( there is many fakes or just bad quality).

GL7 is a leather ball for indoor use only, I think you will not like it. If you are not a big fan of professional b/balls, but you like Molten, I recommend GM7 or GG7. But they also need breaking in period.

The Solution is possibly the greatest ball I've ever laid my hands on.

I've tried the gg7 quite a bit, and I don't especially care for it. I like the Wilson Solution much more.

You know I am not a fan of Molten and you right, they have a little bit different size, but it`s not big deal. If compare GG7 and GL7 I think they have almost simmilar "grade" and it`s depend on what you like more leather of syntethic and to every ball should be get used to. But anyway, if you will bring GL7 and GG7 to the court , everybody will choose GG7.

Wilson Evolution/Solution rule. The Rock is also awesome. Both brands are composite leather. Composite leather Molten balls are great. Real leather Spalding NBA ball is garbage out of the box, until it's broken in, and it takes a long time. Nike Euroleague balls are the weakest of them all. I have all of them save the Nike ball, I've never liked it so I didn't buy it. The Rock is merely 30 bucks and it's on par with all these balls.

good review and in my opinion molten basketballs are light and smaller, dont you think?
@chasegova11 жыл бұрын
yes probably due to the way its shaped thats why it feels lighter/ smaller but i stay using my never-flat spalding because i like playing with a heavy basketball
@chasegova11 жыл бұрын
to me the molten balls are small and lighter and its true if you compare it side by side next to a spalding

People need to learn NOT to shoot with the phone vertically. It just seems so obvious to me that it's hard to understand why people can't grasp the concept.

GG 7 only for indoor use, it`s a nice ball. If you like indoor/outdoor buy GM 7.

just tell me in ur 5 basketball balls is molten gg7 great?
@bogdanbackup11 жыл бұрын
They are not. I have ALL these balls, including Spalding TF-1000. They are all the same size and the same weight, but feel different due to the different texture. If a ball is a 6 (28.5 inches) or 7 (29,5 inches), then it's that size with all balls. Been there, tried them all.

Is there a way to stop or prevent the branding (logo, etc.) on the Spalding balls from fading? Thanks!

Stop playing. The ball is going to fade because you are using it

Your wack. I actually love molten because not a lot of people here in the states don't know about it or use it. I only use spalding and molten. Also molten is better looking.

I have the GG7X and GL7X and love them. I also have the Spalding Official NBA Leather game ball, the Wilson Solution NCAA WAVE game ball, and the Baden Elite. Also have outdoor balls but my indoor balls from 1-5 is, 1.Molten GL7x, 2. NBA Official Game Ball, 3. Baden Elite, 4. Molten GG7X, 5. Wilson NCAA Solution WAVE official game ball. The wave is nice but kinda weird with all the grooves
