Well to the original comment, to be fair these are Basking Sharks which are not only 100% harmless to humans (hey couldn’t be if they tried because they aren’t even physically capable of swallowing you, their throats are too small), but actually kinda friendly.☺️ To the second reply down from OP, funny enough Whale Sharks aren’t whales or sharks! XD

Why is he using chop sticks to paddle his boat?
@deaganachomarunacathasaigh4344
@deaganachomarunacathasaigh4344 3 жыл бұрын
They're oars😂. A traditional type of oar designed for the currach because the currach is designed to be used on open rough water and to be operated by 3 to 6 men at a time. Square oars are less likely to be dragged in by rough water so the boat is less likely to flip

Deacon Casey eeeeh still looks like two giant sticks, that thins out at the ends. But it doesn't seem to widen into a proper paddle (that I've seen) 😂 I mean, he got all the way out there, so he should be able to get back with the roughly made oars 🤣
@vinokai
@vinokai 3 жыл бұрын
Deacon Casey I suppose so. Though at the very end there you can see the full length of the oars. Honestly the only paddles/oars I've seen are the ones in Walmart, Cabella's, and Pro Bass. 😂

Most big fish are filter feeders or eat only plants. That’s why they get so big, because they can eat way more and don’t use energy for hunting. Look at Sturgeon for instance, one of the biggest freshwater fish species. It sucks crap off the bottom of lakes.

So amazing to see such a large animal so clearly and so close in its natural habitat! Wonder what the first people who saw them thought! They’re massive!
