BASS ANGLERS’ DREAM: Fishing the Pristine Mountain Rivers.

Bass Fishing in spectacular mountain scenery and clean clear waters.
Today I head up into the mountains to chase wild Australian bass. It's good for the soul to get out into areas like this. Catching wild Australian native fish in their untouched natural environment is such a buzz, I need to get out fishing for bass more often........think I say that every season, lol.

Thanks mate, the location is what makes this spot, probably better bass fishing in other parts of the river that are way easier to access but the untouched isolation of this section of river keeps drawing me back. Yeah the seas pretty bumpy atm, swells dropped a bit but really messy looking sea.

Awesome, have you thought about using a popper??? Surface strikes makes the heart skip faster.

When I hiked in I only took a few lures with me, 1 rod, small day pack with food/water. Tried to pack light because I knew I would be walking/climbing/falling over, all day, lol. Once I started fishing I wished I had other lures with me....including some poppers and cicada's, they will be in my pack next time. Thanks for viewing and leaving a comment mate, much appreciated. Oh, and your right, surface strikes DO make the heart skip faster.........but walking back up that mountain made my heart nearly burst out of my chest.....I could hear my heart beating in my ears, lol.

Awwwwww...dont say that....every year when the season starts coming to an end I always think "how's the season over already?" I never chase them as much as I should.

You are right. It is good for the soul and also for the head and heaps cheaper than going to see a shrink. It’s not so much about the fish but always good to catch a few. Nice video and a great looking place.
