I have 3 fenders including a MIJ 62 RI, but I also have 12 Yamaha's, I wonder why.

I began with 4 Fenders. Now they were all replaced by vintage Yamahas. Better construction and their woods and finishes age way better than Fenders. The Yamaha hardware had some troubles especially in first runs of few models, but that was later corrected. Once yo learn how to recognize the improved hardware, you can get a bass for a lifetime. And they sound and play GREAT

Some old strings I’ve bought it with. Looked like stainless 100-40.

SB500 is very good, but the muffled sound is still an issue.

Put a warning on your videos. Contains bass slap. Most bass players hate slap.
