Hello I just want to say I really love fishing and i love watching yall on KZbin and 2 years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and I've been battling and fighting this disease for over 2 years and recently I just got bad news that I only have 6 months or maybe 9 to live so I've been just at home watching KZbin and I ran into your channel and I've been watching every videos yall have post and I truly truly like can watch them for hours Rob you're very entertaining your good fisherman your good captain and seems like a cool dude and your wife seems like a very nice person and I just want to say God bless y'all and and y'all seem like very cool people and I'm happy for y'all that you can share your life on KZbin and I really appreciate . I appreciate every video you post Im very thankful and I want to say thank and I miss fishing and I miss everything that I was able to do back in the days with my son but this disease have took a lot out of me so I haven't been doing much lately with my son I would love to take him fishing some day before my time is up and right now I kind of have the energy and try my hardest not to give up so you're inspired me to to want to go fishing and want to go out there and take my son and and make memories but it's going to be tough these next couple months but I'm going to do it and I'm going to stay strong and keep fighting for all of us cancer patients out there that are battling this ugly disease but videos like yours fishing and cooking and just been in time with very good people means a lot to me and it's good to see y'all having fun and I will continue watching yalls video is something that I really like to do. nm I miss fishing and just haven't had the chance and it's been kind of hard financially wise cause I'm not working cause of my sickness I live in Corpus Christi Texas we're right by the water and I miss fishing and I miss having fish frys and all that goos stuff I just haven't had a chance cause I've been battling this disease but just want to say thank you and thank you to your wife and I will continue watching yalls video and God bless

Rob, the last three videos have been so valuable for the channel and community. Sarah’s hunt, with the anticipation and serenity, was such a great representation of the hunt. The boys in Maryland, with one taking his first buck and the other missing, was a great demonstration of passing it down and fair chase. And you guys, getting together after a quarter decade over bass fishing...those are what the outdoors are all about. Awesome.

Rob, I don't understand or abide by "catch and release". I fish to eat, not fish to find a pet, lol. When I go fishing/crabbing/clamming/etc., I'm doing it to feed myself, my family, and close friends. Same goes for hunting. Please keep in mind, I'm not giving you a hard time, I love all your vids, and appreciate all that you teach folks in the ways of fishing, hunting, living, and respectfully treating others. From the bottom of my heart, I want to deeply thank you! Peace.
@deermeatfordinner7 жыл бұрын
+Trystian Sky thanks man! I am in the middle on that. I love to fish, but I don't keep everything I catch. I like be to hunt, but I don't shoot the first thing I see, normally... we love the meat and the wonderful meals from game that we harvest, but there's so much more to it than that to me. I appreciate you having a different view point, but still enjoying and appreciating our channel. Have a blessed day!
@Trystiansky7 жыл бұрын
Rob, you, your family, and friends are an inspiration to myself and everyone I know that I've shared your videos with. I realize that everyone has a different view on certain things. I know that you respect and honor life, as I do, and take only what you need. That's why my friends and myself love you and your family for sharing your lives with us. Peace and be safe!

Hey Mon Ami check this out...... Brent Wyble is a good friend of mine.. He is from my area here in Louisiana....... Port Barre and lived a long time in submarines while in the Navy and had his home in Florida while on land........ He builds custom rods for salt and fresh water fishing...... He takes the extra care to find the backbone of the blank he is going to make the rod with.... Every rod he makes is a one of a kind..... No rush with him on perfecting a rod that is customized for you personally that is made with TLC .... He has his own set up for the extra things you want for a custom rod...... Alligator skins ???? YES he can put that on a rod toooooo... Onion skins for a gardener ?? YES he can do that tooooo.. I seen one he made with one that he did for a door prize for our Bayou Gardener Get Together.... Get with him you will not be disappointed ......... When you talk to him tell him Boo or Boudreaux sent ya.. He'll cut you a deal on multiple items ~!~! www.zookdesign.com/ Thanks for reading this comment ~!~!

Well that was a surprise ending, lol. Be great to see how big "Range" can grow in that little pond, so long as he/she has plenty to eat. That's the exact same style & size of hook I use on live wild shiners for bass........a 4/0 kahle hook. ( also known simply as a shiner hook ) Much more effective than a straight-shank hook.

I️ understand just keeping what fish you can eat fresh. I’m the same way. I️ assume you know about the new bass fishing regs that are now in place in FL? No more 14” stuff, at least here in central FL. Some parts of the Everglades have their own rules.
