So glad you appreciate NMIXX as much as I do! I feel like their setting a new standard for live K-pop vocals. They’re not afraid to perform without backing tracks on various K-pop programs, including that phenomenal Tiny Desk performance. My bias in the group is Lily. She has such a dynamic vocal range and her performances sound effortless. There’s many solo covers from her to choose from on KZbin, but I’d say the best showcase of her ability is on an episode of Leemujin Service. It’s a K-pop show that invites solo artists and individual group members to perform live with only piano accompaniment, so as you can imagine; only the most talented vocalists agree to participate. Lily’s episode is basically a mini concert. Even the host was blown away!
