@MichaelBrown-ov8sh8 жыл бұрын
+zmanafacation I agree...his singing is alright, but it's a bit too dry in the mix. Maybe a bit of chorus or reverb to sweeten it up

+zmanafacation I fucking know right? Len's a great drummer and I think his addition as a permanent member on Rip This was ultimately for the better, but his voice is just way too... idk soft? You know what I mean, though, right?

yea but I wish he played hard the whole set. His drumming on electric and get found was sick. Everything in between was basic. Rock band nowadays need drummers that just do fills left and right like the 60's and 70's and even the 90's. Fuck all that "playing to the song BS. How else would the who become famous?

@John Stramiello lol it sounds like you're being sarcastic but I don't think you are. The drummer's job is to keep time and provide the proper rhythm, not play their instrument like it's a lead guitar, what you said is basically the opposite of what's true. As a rhythm section player, playing fills left and right is what you're gonna wanna *not* do lol sure there are exceptions here and there but I don't think you can really attribute The Who's fame solely to Keith Moon playing lots of big drum fills haha. anyhow, you were joking anyway right? In that case lmao good one!

I met and hung out with John Barrett in Minneapolis when I saw them in Minneapolis at Triple Rock. Real nice guy. He recorded his first singles and album by himself in various peoples basements and living rooms. Signed my vinyls and took couple pics with him. And holy crap we were drunk. lol!! Hanni El Khatib was there too. Fun night.

I just wish that fender made more glued in/neck thru guitars as every bolt-on I've ever owned has has the worst time when it comes to set ups (except for an ESP LTD MH-53 I ice owned.
