Good video, but I recommend getting rid of the SMACK sound heard whenever something pops up on the screen. Gets annoying after a while.

The eq settings on my preamp are all at 12 o'clock. And I use a 31-band graphic eq vst plugin to shape the tone. That makes it easy to save the settings, no more twisting the knobs to find that tone.😁

I have the empress paraeq and love it. I also have others graphic eq, but the parametric is better in my opinion.

I have a high pass/low pass filter pedal made by Broughton Audio. I keep it on at all times. I find it really tightens up my sound. Highly recommend.

I always thought that the difference between semi parametric and fully parametric was just that in fully parametric, the Q could be expanded or contracted.
