BASS Fishing Guide! - Fishing Planet Tips
Welcome back to Fishing Planet. In this video I want to give you tips to start you off with your Bass fishing. You can do this at level 5 if you use the baitcoin premium currency but I wouldn't recommend it as it's way too expensive but from level 6 you can use your bucks, the standard in game currency to buy all the tackle and other equipment you need. All you need is a basic casting rod, a casting spoon and some line and a reel. Lures don't disappear when you catch a fish so they're usable multiple times unless your line snaps and Bass are good fighters so this will be a fun experience especially if you've never done it before. Few tips for early bass fishing. 1-2 lbs is your target weight so get a spinning rod, reel, and line to easily handle a 2lbs fish. Use a bass jig to catch fish. You will be able to use the same one until you upgrade. Upgrade your fish hut/fish jail every chances you get. Don't forget about fish jails! They're sometimes much better than the huts you can use at your current level. The first lake is pretty darn efficient, stand on the middle of the pier and cast between all the groups of lily pads and let your bass jig sink. "Twitching" (left clicking and right clicking repeatedly) seems to work the best for me. This beginner lake will make good money until around level 16 when you can buy some nice strong equipment and move onto bigger bass.

You can get free daily worms at lone star spawn at the bridge and go to the compost pile behind you get about 25-50 worms

My PB for Bass is a Largemouth I caught at the Everglades literally yesterday and it weighs a decent 10.397lbs. Not too bad for a bass. But my biggest fish overall is a 32.706lb Blue Catfish from Saint Croix lake. Absolute unit

X to select to move time forward, and there is an option to fast forward to the next morning and that will sell your fish and stay at the lake. Great video! P.S. you can lure fish at level 4 with a spinning Rod. You picked a casting rod. The elemental ultra light works well. It casts further and the reel holds more line 😃

I remember seeing somewhere that you can skip to the next day and automatically sell your fish but I never paid attention to it lol, thank you for the reminder. I never thought of the spinning rod, I just looked at the preferred lures, saw the casting spoon and thought casting rod so another thank you for the heads up. I’m at level 8 now and have a double rod setup, going to be doing a carp guide soon. I’m glad you enjoyed the video :D

@@natewible475 A jig or lure (not bait) cannot be used with a float setup (bobber setup). Must get a basic spinning rod and reel, and be sure the rod is within the parameters for the lure weight you are interested in.

just a tip if you want to maximize your time on the starting lake for the bass you want to do a stop and go action for the lure they like that a lot better and you catch a lot more. Good video though.

Cheers buddy and I’ve tried a few different techniques, the Bass love twitching from my experience. I made 2,000 bucks and filled the level 8 net with 26.5lb of Bass and Pickerel in about 30 minutes. Thank you for the tips though, I’ll try stop and go again and see the difference :D

Spot on. It can be a very slow process but that’s the fun, you never know what’s out there. I’ve had 10 hour fishing sessions with no catch and then I’ve had some sessions where it’s bite after bite :D

Yeah there’s different competitions that run. I was going to enter one this morning, it was a catch anything with insect or worm baits at the level 3 Czech Republic fishery that run for 2 hours. Biggest single catch earns points and all fish caught earn 1 point each. I saw nearly 300 people had registered with about 6 hours to go until the competition started :D

You need to buy the advanced license buddy. It stops you needing to pay a fine and I explained it in the video :D

That’s possibly because your drag is too high, use left on your D-Pad to lower the drag and the fish will damage your line instead of snapping it. Either that or your line isn’t strong enough for the fish you’re going for
