5:10 The Recipe thing is what I believe allow you to make Chum, Which would attracts fish using smell or something. Supposedly used by Feeder Fishing Rods or other Rods that specializes using feeders

When you are holding a rod, you can hold "z" to equip different lures on your backpack without needing to go to your inventory. Do not leave a map to sell all the fish you've caught; just forward to the next day and they will be sold. You can go a little over the max of your fishnet.

Actual good Tip when it comes to very pricey maps, since traveling there is costly but staying in is cheaper to say the least.

OK... SO, just started play FP. What is the benefit to keeping fish? releasing fish? ~Still trying to figure the game out. I've been releasing most of the fish I catch - Keeping the largest of each species.

Keeping fish gives exp and money releasing them just gives you the exp.

Game is a grind for sure but it doesn't force you to pay a cent I've put upwards of 1000 hours in the game in 4 years probably spent 100 dollars and that was resently I didn't want to grind for a bass boat.
