I have only caught a lot of shaker striper out there but have heard stories of some monsters I even accidentally caught a salmon there on a red crank bait believe it or not

@@trouthunterz4834 I haven't been there for years but I've fished the Lodi lake dam and there are absolute monster striper in there. Caught one that went from the ground up to your chest head to tail. Supposedly it's not legal but it's a gem. You can get in there by parking at the golf course and walking to the bridge. I haven't been up there in like a decade though so not sure what it looks like.

The damn near Woodbridge for Lodi lake? that’s crazy I’ve never heard of striped bass outta there but I have seen salmon be caught I also hear it’s illegal but idk man that sounds like a risk ima have to take lol🤫 I used to live in Lodi and have fished Lodi lake a lot and have caught some decent bass outta there but never thought zebras would be swimming there 🤔

@@trouthunterz4834 we had to use a belt as a stringer. It required two guys literally jumping in neck deep water to untangle the line from an underwater tree a good 300ft downstream because it was so large we knew it would snap the line if we didn't baby it in. Easily was 30 minute battle. I don't remember the exact weight but it was over 40lbs and we found full grown bluegill and bass in it's belly. There's a ton of keeper size striper in there too. And plenty of bass that lurk along the shoreline. You couldn't convince me to swim across though, not a chance. But yeah the biggest striper lurk just on the lower side of the dam and in that churning water between the dam and the bridge right out in the middle. My guess is they feed on bluegill and smaller fish coming over the dam. Hopefully if you fish it you can give post a video of your secret spot 😉
