That was what I call an excellent piece of fishing several times I thought it would have broken free as you were reeling it in that was a lovely sized bass which put up one hell of a scrap a beautiful fish well done to you and to the passers by for their assistance

Nice pal, looks like a fun couple of days. Never fished the marina but always see a few fish swimming about on warmer days 👍

Cracking bass at the end there.. I fish the marina a lot and when targeting those smaller bass with a size 14 hook you’ll catch twice as many with mudrag, great stuff tho hopefully see you down there one day 🎣

Sad fact that the best channels and vids shout less about themselves and worry less about self promotion. Keep em coming

Really well done that was extremely difficult and couldve gone pear shaped so many times!well done holding onto the ladder and rod and net-and fair play for putting it back as theres plenty that wouldve smacked it on the head.!

It was a bit scary, I’ve bought a new net now with a 5.5 m handle, never fish without it. I like to return all my fish, not really a huge fish eater. Thanks so much for watching. Much appreciated 🎣👍🏻

Strange how big predators like that seal don’t necessarily kill the fishing dead. I’ve vid. Great fish. Subbed

I fish alone a lot and sometimes you just don't have enough hands.
@anthonyhumphries58953 ай бұрын
You might as well have taken that fish home to eat because you just tired it out for the seal 🤣 nice fish though and well played

What's the rod your using mate? Looks reel tippy.. My kinda thing.

It’s nothing fancy, can’t remember the name but it’s a cheap mitchel rod I bought on holiday, it was about £12, when I take it out the shed next il let you know the model 👍🏻

@@fishingrocks4119 crikey I wish the gear I use cost that. But I am a tackle tart I guess.
@fishingrocks41192 жыл бұрын
@@ambientshane oh I’m a tackle tart too, I have an addiction seriously, especially when it comes to my lure fishing. I think sometimes tho we get so caught up on the latest and best gear and the fishing comes second. Sometimes you don’t need it to go out and have fun. I’m trying to think that way more lately, instead of getting bogged down in the tackle of it all. Again thanks for watching and tight lines next time you get out🎣👍🏻

Do you need to pay or need to do anything to fish here?
@fishingrocks41192 жыл бұрын
It used to be pay and display, only a pound or two all day, then during lockdown it was free, I don’t know if it is back to pay and display, not fished there in a little while. And no you don’t need a license as it’s classed as sea fishing, until you go further up river, good luck when you get out, let me know how you get on 😀🎣👍🏻
