love the video ..many fond memory's of fishing these marks for cod and bass gutting to loose one but always nice to pick one up in the end i lost a big bass at lower light one night which was sole destroying but i popped back the night after and landed one at 9lb 12oz so i was more than happy

Hi jansen you ok . Your right about weather , last week on the humber we had north eaterlis . Sun out but that biting cold wind was straight in your kisser. I managed a small codling to save the blank. Pleased you landed that prime bar ov silva after dropping the other one. Looks great fun on lite gear i think i mite invest in some. I felt as gutted as you when you lost the Big one...i was betting with my son on the size it was going to be...looked like a 9+ to me...you seem to have beautiful scenery and good fish unlike us around the kent and sussex coasts..all seem to have gone...now i have retired early will fish further around the coast..may well be intouch for a bit of guided fishing👍

I love these videos but I'd love e to know where exactly you're fishing from as I hate wasting time trying to find places to fish as I come from the otherside of Bristol and don't have time to wander the coastline.

Glad you enjoy the content. I never say where I fish for numerous reasons, but with a little detective work you should be able to find out. Bass can be caught from literally any mark in the Bristol Channel and it’s just a case of putting the hours in when conditions are right. I run a guided shore fishing service if that is of interest to you. Exploring marks can be trial and error and there’s been times in the past where I’ve made 300 mile round trips just to do that🙂

Usually only in the clearer water found down channel. It is not as productive as crab, but squid can be effective at times🎣🙂
