I can't wait for a fly-dropshot video, there has to be a way. flyfishers will twist their knickets in a knot and stand on a head, to catch the whatever fish with "fly setup", not what's better for the job. I did not care about fly fishing before, but now i really start to see what this is about. It's an obsession to a level of absurdity.

Hello, I am a flyfisherman who lives in Korea. You should know that you are happy. Rainbow Trout and Cherry Brown Trout live here But there are more people than fish. Everyone is sensitive to fishing spots. But I enjoy the downriver with my Saturn 12.6. I enjoy watching your KZbin.

I know HFF only fished top, but the best way to consistently catch the biggest bass, weighted lines with big, heavy bunny style flies on main channel ledges will put you on a different level!

I missed 3 bass trout setting my first time bass fishing despite Alvin D giving me specific directions to not do that. I had to practice the strip set first. I'm glad Alvin just smiled. My fishing buddies would not have been so kind

Soooo true....I missed a BIG largemouth last week when I saw it suck down the topwater I threw and got so #@$% excited I "set the hook" so @#^$% hard I pulled that fly right out of it's gloriously large mouth! Lesson learned! (I hope!) I bet if I'd been using my terra-cotta rod I would've landed that pig! Thanks for the tips and vid!

So with standing water, especially in Central North Carolina, the bass are really skiddish with boats and boat noise and you typically have to make a really long cast with conventional gear, we're talking 40 to 60 yards. How to you make a long cast with a fly rod? Is a tutorial on your channel?
