I was struggling with this. The other videos go so fast, I couldn’t see where to make the sharpened 4th! Thank you so much, gave you a subscribe and a like!

Exactly, I have been telling my students for years, that if you can play one scale, then you can play them all. I can play pretty much everything, but like you, I play a lot of basslines based around double stops, triads and scales... it's more colorful than the lazy bassists who play only the root, 5ths, and 3rds.

Hi Tony! I've just found out about your lessons, and i've noticed you have an AGUILAR AG500 there on the back :) ...is there any chance you let us hear it? How do you find it? Thank you! Great lessons!
@tonygreybassonlineacademy7 жыл бұрын
I love all Aguilar gear it's all so beautifully made. The tone I get is pure and I can manipulate it to anything I want it to be. Please check out www.tonygreybassacademy.com thanks for the post

That's pretty cool improv. I just look at it as if I am in the key of G.
@tonygreybassonlineacademy7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Donald, well yes I guess you can think about it like that, it's more how you phrase and where you resolve. That's what I'm going for.
@mixc8 Жыл бұрын
Hi Tony I would like to know what do you use to get your tone?
@Benjybass Жыл бұрын
It is much easier to think of a G Major scale when improvising over this mode.
@dusanbass12 жыл бұрын
That's easy on Fodera Tony Grey Signature Bass! :P Just kidding, Tony you are fabulous! Position change and tutorial about improvisation was excellent! ps Do you have perfect pitch? Would you go on fretless Fodera?
@tonygreybassonlineacademy7 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I have perfect pitch but that is not something that helps me when I'm in the moment improvising. Please check out www.tonygreybassacademy.com for lessons on how to develop creative freedom. I have a beautiful Fodera fretless
