Nice demo, thanks! In other demos it sounded kinda mid-scooped, but in this one the mids are more forward

Glad you liked this Jack. Often the exact sound quality of an amp does not come across in a recording, so I suggest that people try one out in person to get an idea if they like it! Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.

For proper gain staging, the gain knob should be opened till the red LED just flashes on heavy notes.

I recently purchased the Hartke HD 112. It sounds incredible. Louder than my Ampeg 2x10 cab. Low end and midrange are amazing. High ends could be controlled as well or simply turn off.

I would like to plug my ampeg analog preamp pedal in the back where that preamp input is at and see how that would sound on my Jackson concert bass . Im sure it would sound brutal

Can the felt feet be removed from the unit? I want to place it inside a cabinet I already own.

Hey Ed, Great question. I think that would be OK but you can check directly with Hartke. Their contact is in this video.. Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.

Is the direct out post or pre master volume?
@BassMusicianMagazine5 жыл бұрын
I do believe it is Pre. That said as I no longer have the review unit, i can't check it out at this time. You can Contact Hartke for that info.

Is it loud enough for a 3 peice blues band in a small club?
@BassMusicianMagazine4 жыл бұрын
Hard to say not knowing the exact size of the club but just guessing... it should be able to do the job. You would probably want to try one out to see if you feel it has enough juice for your Gig. Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.

''enhance the sound of the bass'' is the most vague sound statement i've heard. what does it do exactly?
@BassMusicianMagazine3 жыл бұрын
This Bass Amp has an number of controls that are designed to help you get the sound you are looking for as a musician. Enhancing the sound of the bass means that it can take the sound of your instrument and modify it favorably. Thanks for watching and for your input! If I hook up this amp to a 8 ohm cabinet, will my wattage be 225w?

@@BassMusicianMagazine sounds good, thanks! I just used ohms law to get that number, but you never know what could be going on in that little thing

@@alexcomeau4919 Very welcome Alex. Your calculations sound correct but often electrical equipment is built to exceed the specs given. It is always better to ask than melt something down. :)

I use a 200w 1x15 Traynor combo amp when I practice/gig with my band. Definitely enough for practice and 100% fine for gigs if your going through a PA and are just using the amp as your own monitor. I imagine that 300w should give you plenty!
