Bass on hotdogs 🌭

This was so weird to me🤣
I have been throwing lures for years since I taught myself to fish freshwater and I switch it up and catch bass on hotdogs😅😅
This pond is SOOO TOUGH to catch fish on lures idk why I even try! It is so difficult to catch
a bass so for now on I am gonna just throw live bait, hot dogs or worms lol
I've seen kids pulling up pretty nice size bass on night crawlers meanwhile I am throwing my whole tackle box at them and get skunked.
I love fishing for the surprises and constant learning !!!!!

I actually caught my largest Channel Cat on a piece of hotdog lol it’s was around 25 pounds outta the New River in 1988… the little live bluegill work great also.

@@willtrax71 lolll thats funny guess different fish like em😅 don't catfish often but i want to!! We did end up catching a couple i think the next day on chicken livers but they were gross i would rather use 🌭😅

@@MommyOutdoors lol yes livers are gross and I stick with nightcrawlers or Minnows for live bait. Catfishing is slow at times but fun when they bite and nighttime is better but bring more lights then you need and Chem lights “glow sticks”. Cats don’t spit out the bait so the little bells for night fishing work well and the fillets taste amazing on the grill.
