This was the very best "tackle used" intro I have ever seen you do! KUDOS! Repeat, repeat and repeat this exact style! Respectfully... you nailed it richeously. It was perfect. Couldn't be happier for you! Had to share this IMHO opinion. Hope you are elated and not offended. Only a huge compliment intended. I know how serious and hard you must work. It is definitely serving you well. Again, KUDOS! 👏👏👏👍👍

Loved this video because I am not a local. I live outside of Atlanta and I am only able to get down to the beach maybe 3-4 times a year if I am lucky. The information on your setup and conditions help a lot because it helps me take a lot of the guess work out and just enjoy fishing while I am on vacation. Thanks again!

Great video as always. Just a quick tip. carry a small tube of super glue with your tackle. Put just a drop of it on your jig head and your bait. It will stop it from sliding down your hook. Tight line to ya.

Dad has an old Zebco 808 on a medium rod he got in a dumpster. Caught specs, flounder, reds, grouper, drum, hooked a FN porpoise with it once, every damned freshwater fish in the south...small gar once. Fished lakes, rivers, coast, piers, off boats, by oil rigs... Never once said go get my special flounder rod.

Hi Matt, I fish on the Texas Gulf coast. I've always wondered if catching flounder on the beach like you do is possible here. I've never seen or heard of anyone doing it but figure it should be possible. I've also seen videos of beach flounder in the NE - what are distinguishing structure or features that need to exist for flounder to be in the surf, close to the beach? Deep gut, specific types of sand, water clarity? Appreciate your insights!

Could you please tell me what kind of gear you were using, including rod, reel, line, and leader? I'm never quite sure what to use on the beach if I am just walking up and down the beach much like you were in this video. I'm not crazy about just having permanent beach rods and waiting for a bite. I'd get too "antsy," I need to move around. I really appreciated the fact that you dropped this video when you did, not too many other videos were being put out by too many people recently. God bless to you!
