It wasn't disrespectful at all, it was more like a cool rock'n'roll introduction. He basically said: "You didn't come here to listen to my speech and I didn't come here to give a speech, I'd much rather play for you, so ladies and gentleman, beware! I'm about to fucking destroy!"

Completely different style of slap bass than Marcus Miller. I'd say that his style of playing is more similar to Mark King's than Miller's. I understand how you could make that comparison, but Miller uses a lot of double-thumbing in his playing and Wojtek relies more on a double percussive style of playing,'which MK made famous.
