Tim lives in Nashville, so you can add another state to this collab. I'm so used to him doing his walking base lines that I don't even consider anymore how complicated they are to sing. The same with the high stuff, I know he is a low bass, but I'm so used to him singing high that it all blurrs down to Tim doing Tim stuff. This video was so funny and you all looked like you had a blast!

Peter, this was so much fun! It looked like it was a blast to make, and it definitely was one to watch/listen to. I always appreciate the specific technique talk in your videos, like the attention to how different sounds or timbres are produced at different places in a singer's range, so it's great to watch analysis of a singer like Tim, who has such a massive range to analyze. Tim & Austin have a side project with other singer/song writer/musicians (including occasional guests) called "Sweet & Low Music Co." - the public portions of the live streams are available on you tube. Between touring/recording/videotaping with Home Free, doing so on their own channels, song writing and Tim's recording with other artists (Peter Hollens, Chris Rupp, the Bass Gang) and more, I really don't know when either of them sleep, eat or breathe!

I admit I just LOVE watching you react and analyse a new Bass Gang video. You look even more excited than a kid who was given his dream toys to play with, and they're even better than he expected. 🙂 And this time it's even more so than usual. 🙂 Tim is one of my favourite bass singers, together with Geoff and all you guys. And you all have something beyond your already incredible singing skills (as if they weren't enough already! 😁). You've got HUMOUR. It looks so obvious that you guys had tons of fun making this video (albeit with all the difficulties of not being together in person), and I'd bet every one of you had maybe even more when watching the final result for the first time. 😁😅 That said, this is an incredible performance, by all of you guys. Tim is just as incredible as it gets, with his incredible range (there are moments in which he sings HIGHER than most "regular" singers, and he sounds just as ease as in his low register 😳). And his smile is contagious 🙂😁. But you all are fantastic. And you really show your "funny side", which is absolutely GREAT. Towards the end there's such a profusion of hilarious, almost crazy-ish acts played in the background that I was falling from my chair 😅🙂. Loved it. 🙂 Still think that the Bass Gang is STILL ridiculously underrated though. You guys deserve all the best. You are too good not to. ❤ See you next time.

I loved every second of this. I watched the official video first then started going through reactions - Mortius, Jennifer Glatzhofer, King Family, etc. (so many more...) and noticed that you guys, more than any other groups I follow, acknowledge and comment on the reactions. I think that's awesome. Not done finding reactions yet. Hoping David K finds it soon - he doesn't focus so much on the voice but on the arrangement and videography and always notices things that flew under the radar for me. What was fun was how this was a "blind reaction" for several reactors, so far. Their faces when they saw Tim show up were an absolute hoot. And the obvious fan-girling you guys were having to be able to work with Tim was just such a blast to watch. I'd say you guys have worked your way up that mountain to quite the view. :)

As someone who sang, played and loved harmony I AM INDEED IMPRESSED BY TIM FOUST AS A LOW BASS MARVEL .... but, he is most unique in that he has upper range is INSANE .... several usable registers .... just incredible !

I saw a couple of reactors who'd got a "sneak preview" of this freak out when Tim appeared!! (They released their reactions after you'd officially released.) I vaguely remember the B J Thomas version that came out when I was about 11, I think, but this is so much better as far as I'm concerned. Brilliant!! Like I stated to you before, I have heard some bass singers sound muddled. Your voice has that chiaroscuro vocal fry sound like Tim has. Hence, the resonance. This was awesome.

What a fun video! Tim's ability to do those bass runs has always amazed me. The only complaint I had about the video was that his bass runs were so quiet it was often hard to hear them - only his hand was indicating that he was running. Those bell tones were excellent. I always enjoy them.
