I have no idea how he did the pitch control though xd, joe is a wicked beatboxer. NGL Peter, I've loved all four of these, they all kicked ass in various ways, but I have to agree that this was my favorite this time around. This was great. I didn't know any of the 4 songs before watching your videos. Such fun videos. And it's so much fun to hear about what was happening behind the scenes. And that vocal percussionist was amazing. I had not even considered that that was a person and not actual or synth percussion. Wow. Loved this arrangement. Since I didn't know the song, I don't know if the 40s swing vibe is original or specific to this arrangement, but I love it. Kudos to you all.

How are you going to get Marwan out of Egypt when you need him? I could have sworn that TBG was taking production lessons from VoicePlay/Geoff. The difference in the staging from last year to this one. You guys have done wonders. I've been going to my reactors doing the Halloween and latest VP/Geoff. A lot are new to acapella and are asking what should they do next. I've been of course giving them Geoff or VoicePlay but also this album you are doing. You may get some strangers subscribing! You basses need to make another clef maybe a subbass so it isn't so hard to determine where and what note that is! I've had a fair number of my reactors want TBG to get Tim and Geoff to do a special with them. Think they also wanted Avi.

I think this may be the only thing the Bass Gang has ever done, for which the original is so good, both vocally (as you say, Williams' voice acting was on point) and visually (the animators outdid themselves on that one, particularly in terms of complexity and activity level), that it can meaningfully compete with your cover. When the cover first came out, I was initially disappointed, because you always improve everything so much, that my expectations were, frankly, pretty unreasonable. But I'm getting over that. Gradually.

This is my second favorite of the 4 with arabian nights being my fav. Gaston third and be prepared my least fave. All great though!
