So true. They react. Their intellect does not to be caressed. I do not see fly rods on the bass pro tour. Its fun to catch fish on a fly rod but I use what works. That being said I will try to catch small mouth on a fly rod this summer but probably not large mouth.

@@johnmccormack7360 you are missing out. Top water bass fishing is as good as dry flies for trout. The only reason there are no fly rods in the bass tour is because you can't cross their eyes and slam dunk 'em in the boat with a fly rod.

@@tinoyb9294 I've caught plenty of largemouth in my life with top lures and exciting it is for sure. I just don't see a need to change that where as I've had much more success trout fishing with a fly rod. I'm glad I made that change. But that's just me, not saying you should do what I do. If you're catching them and having fun, more power to you!

I fish a shallow lake with lots of boulders and sunken logs along the shore where big brown and tiger trout hang out. They’re looking for a big meal, frog, mouse or large terrestrial. I’m going to give this a shot. Looks good to me Ben. Thanks for the informative video.

This maybe totally unrelated but I had a fly fishing epiphany a few days ago. When the fish start hitting your indicator, it might be time to switch to dry flies. Stay Huge

Its been a jail-able offense to go fishing in my country since March 23. The government might allow us to go fishing in June. I've been tie flying for nearly 2 months. Also, alcohol, cigarettes and takeout have been illegal for just as long. So I've been grumpy tie flying.

Huge Fly Fisherman I tried it and it seems like it dives a bit deeper witch could be a good thing. I was using a normal one today I tried last night and was just out right slaying the bass . I work at bass pro and I always wonder how to tie this pattern thanks for the video your content is awesome
