I love that this video was in two parts and we got to see the fly in action. I think it would be cool to see you do a fly tying challenge video. Put a bunch of material in a bag and pull three out blind, then you gotta try to catch something with whatever random fly you tie.

I live on a well known largemouth lake on the Oregon coast. I fish both conventional bass tackle and flies. I tied this up in olive with black eyes and fished it the other day. This was the first time a fly outfished my baitcast setups. Will be tying up some of your poppers next. Cheers.

I have had the best luck fishing it deep and really slow. Pretty much dragging it on the bottom.

You are a much more experienced tyer than I am, but have you tried using schlappen feathers instead of saddle hackle?
