Today I apply body filler to the roof and tailgate of the bass van, then block sand it. I need to finish some of the heavy body work, before the van goes to the body shop, in order to save labor costs.
I fix a leaking power steering fluid sensor and hunt down other leaks.
Then measure for custom wheel spacer/adaptors to fit our Porsche 17" rims on the bass van for that early 90's look!

With so many SPL vehicles out there that look like they should be parked at the Pick and Pull junkyard, all you need is some exposed spray foam, 2x4’s, purple shag carpet on the dash/headliner and roll on some bedliner to the entire van. You’ll have a first place ride in no time! For extra db’s use plenty of aluminum 3M HVAC tape, empty energy drink cans, a Vape pen and don’t forget some type of superhero/villain theme

All you gotta do on that back of that van is some of that good old expanding foam in that gap, trim off excess….. then the mesh drywall tape and some hot 5 mud on there…… and BOOM Jalapeño solutions! It’s an old drywall van, so you gotta go with what the van knows bro!!! Should have used drywall all inside there! Use the texture gun on the outside and hit it with some sherwin Williams semi gloss exterior paint!!!! Woooooweeeeee!

Hey Doug, considering the van's purpose, are you concerned at all about the body filler/bog cracking and failing under high SPL runs? I've seen roofs and windshields ripple like water waves from hard rolling bass and wondered if it would affect your body work, namely the roof portion. Be sure to record the roof in action once you start bumping that puppy, that would be interesting to see.
