BassBoards of Ancient Desert Ritual ~ Dia of Rude Ducky! Part 1
Live at Crazy Horse Kitchen and Bar on Colfax, Denver, Colorado
How did this come about? A friend, who host dance and music events, asked me if I'd perform something for one of his events. I mentioned that I have a custom electronic drum kit and that maybe I could do something with that. Unfortunately, there was a lack of time to program the kit, Also, I sustained an injury in my wrist. Very painful while drumming. This gave me the opportunity to explore some other avenue of electronic music by synchronizing synthesizers, drum machine, and modulation devices. I performed these improvised experimental pieces live on Colfax Ave., America's longest and wickedest road, during Dia de los Muertos , Day of the Dead. It was an interesting experience.
