This video could happily be followed up by both theory on a lower level (what the bass is a 5:th?) and higher level (how to Charles), and I for one would watch them instantly!
@Roberto-nn6kb
@Roberto-nn6kb Жыл бұрын
5 th is fifth interval, seven semitones (frets) between the notes For example fifth of e chord will be b, for d chord will be a , etc.

@@Roberto-nn6kb It was an example of what a more beginner focused video could include, not a question 😊

Great lesson! If some constructive criticism is fine then I think it would be nice to add the chords in the backing track along with the drums to put the bassline into harmonic context for newer players. Also if you choose to incorporate said backing tracks into future videos then choosing to share them to KZbin viewers would provide us something more to practice with to come up with our own basslines! Excited to see where the channel will go :)

Dude is truly brilliant. I go around and around with the guitarist in my church band about how he thinks everything should be done by ear and how I want to analyze stuff. I think “just doing it” leaves a lot of options on the table. Analysis is fun to me and makes me more able to be original. Subbed

i can’t read sheet music and i have no instrumental knowledge outside of singing, but i was surprised i knew a lot of this stuff! like, i know what sounds good to me and why i want something in the songs i write, but i never learned any technical terms outside of what measures and chords are, so i could never explain to someone why i chose something, only that it “matches the vibes i want”. i’m saving up money to buy a bass, so thank you in advance!
