Israel has allowed people to speak freely about them. So freely most of what gets to the west is lies. What bassam "reveals" his is prejudice against a country because his wifes family is mistreated by the palestinian regime in Gaza.

Or what Israel should do to protect itself shrugs that he's not a politician, not a military man. Pro Palestinians keep saying this didn't start with October 7th he doesn't seem to think this started before yesterday. I get it people dying is all he cares about and then spits out tons of stories why Israel shouldn't kill people and how bad it is, but no remorse for actions of palestinians no belief Palestinians are responsible for their actions and no care for lives beyond Palestinians. Bassam twists the story to meet his needs and if you deviate then he makes jokes.

This resulted in him gaining international fame as per this interview on BBC Hard Talk & also on CNN when Amanpour admitted she didn't know how to respond to him.
