I have a third Gen 4Runner, dude you did a great job with this video. The thermal cam and the wattage test! This was really helpful

What a surprisingly good video. Love how you tested them with the power supply and showed that. Slightly off topic I got a set of DS3 LED lights that I wanted to test that same way and for the life of me couldn't get them to power on, I bought a harness, plugged it in, cut the connector side of the wires had a black, red and yellow that I hooked up to the power supply in all configurations I could and never could get it to light up. But his H4 will be a simple one, thanks again

Thanks so much! Thats strange, it should work if connected properly and everything is working

Hmm, first time I've heard of a headlight bulb needing a heat sink., but then I'm not in the business.....Thanks for the review
@4WheelKid Жыл бұрын
yeah pretty common with LED drivers, too much heat and it damaged them. no problem

I had Morimoto 2stroke LED bulbs and were 5 times better than halogen. No issue with the High beam indicator. However, just finished my Moritomoto MLED retrofit and those are 5 times better with Reflector LEDs. Great video none the less!!!!

Nice! Were they used on a 3rd gen 4runner? Or a different vehicle?? Ill get some if its the same vehicle and the high beam indicator works

Finally! Another rare content that has all the tools it needs to measure the led bulbs and the wattage it makes ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 So it’s very close to what Auxito claim for 20W. Which is great to see that. Definitely a good choice for low beams and fog lights.

for sure! makes for a better review. these bulbs are still working great so far

do your new LEDs have a dimmer for the DRLs? I just bought these bulbs, but the headlight no longer dims for the DRLs; the headlights are basically on at all times

They dont as far as I know

good one there mate, would you be doing a follow up video on the durability of the Q16s? these LEDs are infamous for having much shorter life span than incandescent bulbs

nice! good luck finding one people want an insane amount for them. guy at my work paid $12,000 for an 07 v8 4runner, had almost 300,000 miles on it lol. then he thought it would be a good idea to put a lift and 35in tires on it and then it started having transmission problems

@@4WheelKidI typed my original comment wrong. I am looking for lights! LED light bulbs. I got my 08 4Runner limited with 133k miles for 8k.

I also have a 3rd gen 4runner and bought the first ones you installed and referred to as the q16. Due to the bulb protruding out further, the boot did not allow the connector to fully click in. Did you have to modify your rubber boot? In your video it cuts out right before you show it fully installed.
@4WheelKid3 ай бұрын
Strange I dont recall modding my boots, maybe you have different aftermarket connectors?
@scoophouser3 ай бұрын
@@4WheelKid I managed to make it work. A little rubbing alcohol provided enough temporary lubrication to fit it properly in. Thanks for the response.

Greetings, how were you able to turn on the fog lights because I have the problem that if I put LED lights on it, it doesn't turn on the fog lights, but if I put factory lights on it, it does turn on the fog lights.

I need to wire in a regular T10 bulb in parallel with the high and ground circuit, and another in the low and ground, to make the fog lights and the high beam indicator work with LEDs

I need to adjust my headlights. My 2000 yahama moped produced further light stock than my 4 runner. 😂 Edit: I like how the LED bulbs aim LOOKS to be slightly lower. My Xterra LEDs never gets high beamed. My wife’s old stock Kia was beamed constantly and they were incandescents.

thanks! interesting, maybe you didn't get good ones, I'm super impressed with seeing with these. we will see how they hold up though, may get dimmer after a while, time will tell. try a cyclops brand for the bikes, I was super impressed with the one I used in my tw long ago
