@@reneraymond7807 Thank you! 9.5 d'addario nyxl set. A 58 and 74 for my low strings. Standard F# tuning. Full disclosure, my low strings are pretty old and deadened sounding which actually helps with the bass tone.

Now is the first string at the 12 fret height 1.25mm,& the 8 string height 1.75mm like Steve Vai 6 string guitars?

Couldn't tell you the action height without pulling out some tools. I just get it as low as I can without causing buzzing
