Early on … when Wynton would introduce the band, he’d say (while gesturing to Tain) “… the mold was broken, when this brother was made “ ❤

If we are talking 80s and beyond, Tain is the best drummer in my opinion and perhaps even the greatest innovator regardless of the instrument...his conceptualization was leading the way....eye remember cee-ing this tv show called Birdland, and the show with Courtney Pine had this drummer named Mark Mondesir, and judging by his performance, he was on par with Tain...check out "Fly" by Myka 9, the Greatest West Coast Emcee of all Time, you'll be pleasantly surprised...Thanks, themanwiththevoice!

Great interview, very chilled and love the stories of the tune names. If i had to pick one group to listen too for the rest of my life it would be jeff with branfords band. That music is pure perfection for me.
