I have noticed Hank C. does not put much of a hook set but, throwing a jerk bait you typically don't need one, actually can hurt at times.

You just gently sweep to set the hook on a Megabass vision 110 like he’s using. You can’t set the hook like a worm or jig. Those hooks are fine wire like a hypodermic needle, they will rip and or break.
