The "new" generation/20 year olds that are my co-workers do not even know who BASSNECTAR is or what his music represents. BASSNECTAR is the king and I am lucky to have lived in my 20s pre covid. Thank God and all the blessings I was able to experience attending so many of BASSNECTAR'S shows. Definitely it will never be like this again. I relish the memories of "fresh" BASSNECTAR beats and the crowds going wild over the most basic BASSNECTAR beats.

He's been forgiven in my eyes - Lorins always had a massive following, but also had one of the largest base of "haters" (anyone who's been to Camp knows) and I feel it's very likely this girl set him up. From what I've discovered, he wasn't a prying predator - the girl was diligently consistent at luring the man in. SJ and Datsik however, I can't bring myself to forgiving. And I sat in prison with Space Jesus, love the artist - but the actual person behind the work, my next door celly, just put out discomforting energy. In time, I imagine a nectar return as valiant as the Phoenix who rose above the ash and flame.

That night, Shambhala history occurred! It seemed like everyone intended to show up for that set. 30 min leading up to that performance, a line up formed from the fractal forest, it was impossible to enter the Village. A handful of people bush whacked and went as far as crawling underneath the stage to find a way in. Instead they found a rabbit hole leading them directly to the front of the stage.

He is making a return in 2023. I don't feel comfortable supporting him personally until it's certain that he is innocent but I can give him the props he also deserves as well. He was great at performing and if you are okay with experiencing his shows after everything, then here's your chance. But to me no matter how great he is as an artist, I am not comfortable supporting him and letting the things people said he did become irrelevant just cause he's so good performing live. I'm sure the performance will be magical and he will give the greatest performance he's ever done, but nothing should ever excuse the disgusting and fucked up stuff he's known for doing. Only thing that ever excuses all of his actions should be his innocence if there is any...
