Trout will eat what they can eat but snails indicate to me a lack of bugs or minnows. I've caught and cleaned many with snails since with the cool temps the bugs have not come out as much. Nice meat though - shows why they have such bold colors on the outside

Nice rainbows and especially that big brown. You need a scale so you don't have to guess. It'll keep guys like me from telling you that is not 7lbs.👍
@hunterhastings68602 жыл бұрын
Def around there
@UtahWaterLog2 жыл бұрын
@@hunterhastings6860 I disagree. Without actually measuring and weighing it, it's just guesswork. 1. GoPro lenses distort everything. The most realistic angle is when he turns to place it back in the net. 2. A 7lb fish at that length would have a much taller body. 3. The point is that there is no reason to make it debatable. If you don't have the specs and guess anyway, expect criticism of all kinds.

I caught a 7 pound rainbow that was 27 inches when I was a kid. Looking at it on the wall rn. That's a amazong fish. But it's no where near the size of the one on the wall. I'm guessing 23 inches
